Customizable Order Entry Methods and Interfaces

GForceXpress provides a wide range of order entry methods, so that users can trade in the way they find most convenient and appropriate for their trading style. Users can for example, choose a standard screen with easy-to-use pull-down boxes for entering order information, or choose order entry methods that allow point-and-click trading, which enable users to click on a price in one of the market data screens and have an order created from a single click.

Customizable screens are provided to help users manage trading activity. This includes a color-coded screen that consolidates orders, fills, and positions into one screen. Within this screen, a number of filters are available in order to display the precise information desired. In addition to extensive order book filtering, GForceXpress allows users to net positions so that totals can be see quickly. Users are also able to offset and / or reverse any position by right-clicking the item and selecting the desired action. Filled orders are delivered real time and, in some cases, can be delivered in less than one second (performance depends on internet speed as well as hardware).

Other Customizable Preferences

  • Customizes quote lists can be created, from which orders can be entered
  • Symbole lists for the order entry screen can be created, allowing a user to see only a subset of markets of interest to them
  • Defaults can be set for quantity, order type, log-off-time, fill notification and cancel confirmation. This allows for quick order creation from the standard order tick using pre-set defaults and provides flexible mechanisms for fill notification, such as pop-up boxes or audible alerts.
  • Price alerts can be set to provide an audible tone when a market reaches a predetermined price.
